TD1 Removal

The AutoHex TD1 Marker Module allows users to remove the TD1 marker, which indicates that the engine control unit (ECU) has been modified—commonly through aftermarket software such as a remap. This marker is passively embedded by the vehicle’s onboard systems and can be detected by dealerships to deny warranty work related to the engine and potentially the transmission. Without the TD1 marker software patch, these ECUs typically display a “Visit Workshop” message on the dashboard permanently, alerting to the modification. Removing the marker helps prevent this notification from appearing.
