AutoHex’s CVN Patcher is a dedicated module designed to keep modified calibrations indistinguishable from stock across a wide range of ECU families. It selectively alters the Calibration Verification Number (CVN) responses so OEM and dealer-level tools read the file as original, and it halts CVN increment behavior (“freezes the counter”) to prevent future mismatch flags.
Because CVN handling operates alongside checksum validation, apply your calibration changes first, then run the CVN patch. AutoHex’s CVN Patcher will automatically recalculate and apply all required checksums during the patching process—no separate checksum step is needed.
